Class Objective:
iTKO LISA 3 is a powerful tool that can be leveraged in exceptional ways to make quality and performance the hallmarks of your development efforts. While LISA is easy to learn and use, the breadth of options you have for testing an SOA may be daunting. Our training options can pay back enormous productivity gains and quality returns quickly.
The best way to instill the best practices of automated testing with LISA is to get an intense ramp-up session from a product expert at iTKO. The abbreviated 3-Day "LISA Jumpstart" class is a great way to get your team using LISA immediately for simple to intermediate testing (developers often pick it up at an advanced level after this basic introduction).
What you get:
- Online access to a private session with an expert iTKO resource to provide a 3-day training session with your development and/or QA staff.
- Up to 12 individuals may attend the training session to allow class participation.
- The class will touch on the essentials of testing with LISA and provide several hands-on examples so the audience can get started faster. By the second day, some students may be testing against their own departmental projects.
- Class students will receive a completion certificate from iTKO.
Requirements:
- Payment must be received prior to log in to the training site.
- All training participants must be licensed users of iTKO LISA 3.
- No deep development or Java experience is required to learn from the Jumpstart, but an intermediate level understanding of integration and programming is recommended.
- No "custom implementation" work for the customer's software is included in the class.

Each section of the class ends with a hands on exercise. The exercises build on top of each other. For example, datasets created in one lesson are used by subsequent tests, the end result being the student will create and run suites of tests that have been built by them.
