As the development lifecycle has changed from traditional waterfall development and testing, to agile, spiral and scrum models supported by ALM, the need for continuous testing throughout the lifecycle has become self-evident. SOA brings new levels of change and complexity to the table, forcing multiple teams to find ways to collaborate. In order to evolve these processes, and achieve the business responsiveness and cost benefits of SOA, there is a need for vastly improved processes in how we build, implement, and test systems.
