iTKO Announces Integration of LISA with IBM Rational Software
DALLAS, TX, June 7, 2010 -- iTKO, a leading provider of virtualization and validation solutions for enterprise cloud applications, today announced further integrations of their LISATM software with the IBM (NYSE: IBM) Rational Software Delivery Platform based on the IBM Jazz platform.
The combined products help to ease the challenges of developing and testing modern applications, including cloud-based services, integration platforms such as IBM WebSphere/MQ, DataPower and many more enabling technologies.

The iTKO integrations have received "Ready for IBM Rational Software" validation, and are available today for on-premise deployment; iTKO intends to offer the integrations in the cloud later this year. The iTKO solutions currently integrated with IBM Rational Quality Manager, IBM Rational Team Concert, IBM Rational ClearQuest and other IBM software tools include:
- Integrated Defect Management: Leverages LISA Pathfinder for complete transparency and traceability across all application tiers and technologies to quickly identify root cause defects, streamlines defect collaboration between Development and QA, and automatically generates and publishes detailed regression test suites into IBM Rational platforms, reducing reliance on manual testing efforts and increasing delivered quality.
- End-to-End Validation: Automated end-to-end, multi-tier validation of technologies across multiple application tiers in a codeless environment. The combination of IBM Rational tools and LISA Test allows unit, functional, regression, system integration, load and performance testing to be automated across heterogeneous applications, allowing automated test coverage for improved quality and greater efficiency.
