ITKO Supports Mission-Critical Testing of Versata Applications

ITKO becomes Versata(R) strategic alliance partner at JavaOne; sees successful customer deployment of LISA 2.5.

June 28, 2004 (San Francisco, CA) – ITKO, Inc. today announced a successful deployment of LISA 2.5 to test Versata, Inc. (NASDAQ:VATA) developed solutions in mission-critical customer environments. ITKO also announced that they have become a strategic partner with Versata to ensure continued support for their complementary solutions.

Versata is a leading provider of software and services that automate the development and ongoing management of data-intensive applications and master data management. Versata and ITKO recently completed a successful automated functional and load testing project of a complex customer application. The consultants and developers working on the customer project leveraged LISA’s rapid extensibility features to create and run LISA test cases directly from the Versata® Logic Server.

Leading factors in the decision to use LISA automated testing software included:

* Rich Java/J2EE and web services testing abilities
* Ease of use and no-code test case creation
* Rapid extensibility to Versata’s software using the LISA Integration Kit
* Lowest total cost for full lifecycle testing, including flat licensing model, reduced adoption cost and system requirements

LISA went live and started providing continuous testing abilities in just two days. Hundreds of simultaneous user sessions were launched from LISA, allowing the Versata and customer implementation teams to proactively find and resolve errors or performance problems prior to deployment.
