Solution Architect - Presales

Job Description:

iTKO's Presales Organization has attracted the most talented and experienced people in the industry. We provide technical proof points, and demonstrate the value of LISA solutions to our customers for mitigating the risks related to modern software development, testing and integration. Qualified candidates must have experience in presales as a customer-facing field engineer, a minimum of a Bachelors degree, and experience with the following:

  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Work as an integral part of the sales team, owning the technical portion of the sale and identify additional opportunities where applicable.
    • Make presentations and demonstrations, as needed, on all aspects of the iTKO LISA Solutions.
    • iTKO Solution Architects are responsible for creating value in the sales process in the following ways:
      • Development of the technical sales strategy for your accounts
      • Definition of customer requirements
      • Develop and propose solutions based on your prospects environment
      • Present and clearly articulate the value and strength of the iTKO technologies
      • Maintain in depth knowledge of competitor products and what the iTKO competitive advantages are
    • Ability to scope and deliver a customer proof of concept
  • Required Skills & Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in a presales engineering role.
    • Strong skills in the following areas:
      • Java/J2EE
      • .NET knowledge a plus
      • XML and web services
      • EAI (Oracle, webMethods, Tibco, IBM, etc...)
      • Business process modeling
    • Knowledge of modern enterprise application environments: Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), BPM, Integration processes, distributed and multi-tier environments.
    • Knowledge of various SDLCs
    • Able to work in a rapidly growing company environment with an extremely high level of enthusiasm and intensity
    • Excellent written, oral communication, and be proficient in presentation and client facing skills.
    • Self-disciplined and have the drive to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient, well-rounded experience in technical consultative selling, from development directors, up to C-level executives.
    • Ability to work productively from home office and remotely
    • Ability to travel approximately 60%
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Position: Fulltime, Presales Solution Architect.
    • This position reports into the Vice President of Solution Architecture.
    • US Citizen or permanent resident status required
